Welcome to Germany in 2006!

Here we go! The Australian soccer team has just beaten Uruguay and comes to the world championship in Germany next year. After I had had lecture until 9pm, Will, Babsi and me saw the game live on tv and witnessed an exciting penalty shootout at the end. After all, the Socceroos won 5:2 and we celebrated it with a beer in our living room. Welcome to Germany in 2006, Socceroos!

I know, I haven't posted a statement here for a long time. The reason: I had 9 assignments due in October. No fun at all. Studying 7 days a week from dusk till dawn. Now, I see a light at the end of the tunnel. However, this means also the end of my Australian adventure is near. In exactly 3 weeks I'm going to leave Australia. This makes me sad but also happy, because I know new adventures are waiting for me. After my final exams in the beginning of december, I will go to Sydney for a couple of days and then, Indonesia is waiting for me! Bali, Lombok and Java has to be discovered and I will have my personal travel guide ;-)! I will be back in Germany for New Years Eve and I guess, I will then have the time to reflect my last year and realise for the first time what a crazy year this was and what I have done here. Welcome to Germany in 2006, Chris!
